Preparation for Tomorrow


Well, the two of us went shopping today. We live in the southeastern part of South Dakota in a small city called Sioux Falls. It is really cold out today!! We took separate cars as Andrea had to head off to work from that point. We bought 4 grapefruit, low sodium tomato juice, fresh green beans, a carton of eggs, 1 cantoloupe, 6 apples (braeburn, golden delicious) and 3-4 vines worth of Roma tomatoes. We are embarking on our diet officially starting tomorrow.

After she left, I met up with my boyfriend Andy for lunch at Culver's...sort of a last hurrah until I start this with Andrea tomorrow. I'm excited but nervous. I hope we both do everything correctly. It sounds delicious, I am just not a fan of the small quantities of food we will be eating for the 4 days. Andy happens to work at the grocery store in Health and Beauty/General Merchandise and that is my job for now as well except in Customer Service/Guest Services. The store gets really busy. It is one of the largest grocery chains in the midwest. It was starated by two men about 80 years ago in Chariton, Iowa. It is a really big store. There is a Starbucks and an eatery area. It is the #3 highest grossing in sales in the company. I don't mind that.

I start my training at Gordman's tomorrow at 10 am. I just got hired this past week. I am excited to help out with the post-Thanksgiving/Christmas madness! After that, I work the 3-10 at Hy-Vee. I hope Andrea and I can remain consistent with blogging on here. It is great to type out everything that I'm feeling at the present moment. She is a lot more organized than I am, so I am definitely sure her posts will be a ton more appealing.

Right now, I weigh 160 and am 5'4", 22 years of age. I fluctuate between 155-160. I am trying to lose 30-40 pounds so that I can fit into my skinny jeans again. In addition to that, I would also like to get a toned abdomen in the process. I have always had a stubborn pooch even when I did 500 stomach crunches before bed during high school. I felt that it worked the upper abs, but not the lower part below and around the belly button. Does anyone have any further suggestions for us before we begin?
